About us
Fabryka Równości (the Equality Factory) was founded in 2009 in Łódź, growing out of a local Campaign Against Homophobia initiative. Today we're one of the leading equality organizations in Poland, working for the LGBTQ+ community across the Łódź region.
Mission
We push for legal reforms that guarantee LGBTQ+ people dignity, protection, and support in everyday life. We promote tolerance and acceptance, challenge stereotypes, and provide human rights and sex education - because everyone deserves to live with love, dignity, and safety.
Our values
Respect and acceptance
We respect diversity and create space that's open to different perspectives and experiences.
Solidarity
We act in solidarity, supporting marginalized people and building an aware, just society.
Integrity
Our work is grounded in democracy, authenticity, and reliability in the pursuit of equality.
Board
The Board is the Association's second most important body after the General Assembly - it directs the Association's work and represents it externally, in line with the statute, the General Assembly's decisions, and the law. It's elected for a 2-year term.
