We are a grassroots organization working for human rights.

Fabryka Równości, founded in 2009 in Łódź, grew out of a local Campaign Against Homophobia initiative. Since then, we've become a leading cultural and educational organization in Łódź and the wider region, working for the LGBTQ+ community. As one of the most dynamic equality organizations in Poland, we take part in a wide range of activities. These include cultural programming, promoting acceptance and understanding for non-heterosexual and transgender people, and running extensive educational programs on equality and anti-discrimination. Our multifaceted approach aims to build a more open and compassionate society for everyone.

Our mission

Our mission is to build a Poland where every individual enjoys full civil rights and freedoms, regardless of their identity or background. We work toward a society that is aware, free from prejudice, discrimination, and hate - a place where everyone can safely express their identity and feel accepted. We push for legal reforms that guarantee LGBTQ+ people proper dignity, protection, and support. By promoting tolerance and acceptance and breaking down prejudice and stereotypes against groups discriminated against on the basis of gender, age, religion, ethnicity, gender identity, and sexual orientation, we build a more just reality. Our work also includes human rights education, combating discrimination, and sex education. We want every person to be able to live in love, dignity, and safety.

As an equality organization, we work toward a society where everyone has equal opportunities, regardless of identity or experience. Respect and acceptance of diversity matter deeply to us, and we act in solidarity, supporting marginalized people. We advocate for human rights and equality education and for building aware societies. We stay open to different perspectives and create space for the free exchange of views. Our work is grounded in the values of democracy, authenticity, and integrity - as we work toward equality and social justice.
