Fabryka Równości

Join us

An association is, above all, people. Fabryka Równości is a group of activists, students, and working people of all ages who work together for equality in Łódź and the region. If you want to make a real, local impact for diversity, you'll find your place here - here's how you can get involved.

Volunteering

The simplest way to get involved - voluntary, unpaid work for the organization. You can help out once, e.g. at the Equality March, or stay involved longer - you decide how much.

  • Take part in the organization's ongoing work and meetings
  • Commitment shaped around your own time and capacity
  • New experience and personal growth
  • A formal volunteer agreement and certificate of volunteering

Membership

Membership is formal, legal belonging to the Association - members together make up the organization and decide its direction. We have three types of membership, differing in rights and expected involvement. Details are set out in our Statute and Bylaws.

Supporting

The base tier, with a moderate level of involvement - an advisory voice, fewer obligations.

  • Formal membership in the Association
  • The right to take part in the General Assembly
  • An advisory voice on every matter
  • Minimum dues: 18 PLN/month

Regular

The highest level of involvement - full voting rights, alongside an expectation of actively taking part in the Association's work.

  • Everything supporting members get
  • Full voting rights, including for the Association's leadership
  • A vote in formal resolutions
  • Minimum dues: 25 PLN/month

Honorary

A distinction for people who have made an especially significant contribution to the Association's growth or mission.

  • Everything supporting members get
  • No formal obligations

Want to join? Here's how it works

At first, we'll welcome you as a guest - you can observe our work and take on your first initiatives. After about three months, we'll decide together on the next step. It typically looks like this:

volunteer → supporting member → regular member

Frequently asked questions

Can minors join?
Yes. People 16 and older can belong to the Association on their own and use full membership rights. Younger people can join with a guardian's consent, with limited rights - the same applies to volunteering.
What's the difference between membership and volunteering?
Volunteers help with specific activities but don't formally belong to the Association. Members co-create the organization and decide its direction.
How much does membership cost?
Dues are at least 25 PLN/month for regular members and 18 PLN/month for supporting members. In justified cases, the Board can grant a discount or a fee waiver.
