The Equality Factory is beginning to implement a grant as part of the project “Building Equality Together: Support and Development for Local LGBT+ Groups and Organizations” carried out by the Campaign Against Homophobia.

As part of the “Łódź Equality Network” project, we will carry out a series of activities combining organizational networking with initiatives for the LGBTQ+ community and the development of skills in event planning, internal organizational integration, facilitating dialogue within and between organizations, training for leaders within organizations, and building and strengthening communities.

We plan to organize the meetings according to the following structure:

  • Introductory meeting - presentation of the project agenda, presentation of the organization, surveys, expectations.
  • Facilitating dialogue and fostering cooperation among organizations.
  • How to identify the community’s needs. How to reach people who aren’t part of our community yet. How to design truly inclusive events. How to build a community, not just attendance.
  • Training for leaders in organizations.
  • Integration of the organizations.

Outcomes of the activities: strengthening cooperation among organizations operating in Łódź, integrating and empowering the local LGBT+ community, developing the capabilities of the organizations and workshop participants, and laying the groundwork for long-term social and cultural initiatives. The creation of the Łódź Equality Network, a platform and strategy for cooperation among organizations in carrying out joint activities.
